The Rooftop Winter Wine Series: Explore the Wines of Southern Italy

The Rooftop at The Envio is working in collaboration with the Commonwealth School of Wine to bring you our first ever wine series. These fun and informative classes will focus on wines from around the world. Series 1 will be an introduction to wines of the Mediterranean. Over the course of 4 classes we will take you around the Mediterranean an introduce you to varietals from various regions. Tickets for each class will be sold separately. In addition to the classes we will offer a 5 course wine dinner that will focus on everything taught throughout the series, as well as an introduction to a new region. Tickets to this dinner will also be available to purchase through Eventbrite.

Our fourth class in the series will introduce you to the wines of Southern Italy. In this class you can expect to taste 6 different varietals of wine throughout various regions of Southern Italy. At each class you will be greeted with some cheese and charcuterie as well as a few small bites to pair with your wine tastings.

Each class will be expertly instructed by Anne Richter Arnold. In addition to being an instructor with the Commonwealth School of Wine, Anne is the founder and chief contributor to the blog and website fromthevinetowine.com. Anne is a Certified Specialist of Wine and holds a WSET Level 3 certification with distinction. Anne will walk everyone through each varietal, where it’s from and instruct you in the art of tasting and experiencing wine.
